Is current MFP calorie limit correct still?

When I first started logging in this year, I put my activity level low. Sedentary lifestyle, not exercising much.
Now, 24 pounds down for the year, 12 since MFP. Doing c25k Mon, Wed, and Fri,
Walking 2 or 3 times a week for 20 minutes+ at lunchtime.
Is it time to change activity level and daily allotment of calories?
Thanks in advance. My diary is public, btw.

From the threads I've read on here people mention to leave the activity level at sedentary if you're not on your feet while working. If you have a desk job keep it at that. However, they do mention eating back at least half of your workout calories if you desire.

Your activity level does not include exercise, so keep it sedentary. But if you haven't changed your calorie goal yet, that should be done.

Thanks. Yes, it's a desk job. Most times I don't eat back the exercise calories.

As long as you are logging the exercise, so you know how much extra you are burning (and thus can eat if you choose) then don't change your activity level.

I have a sedentary desk job in a small call center, while I can walk around a bit, I can't wander too far. My MFP is set at sedentary, and I eat back at least 50% of my calories that I input (or for those with snazzy apps they may get imported) because my MFP calculation give me my deficit without exercise for the weight I said I wanted to lose each week.

The reason people recommend you eat back at least a portion of your exercise calories is because you're already AT a healthy deficit (if you calculated as you should have, not as you want to), and you don't want a bigger deficit, as strange as that sounds. You want to loose weight at a healthy deficit. Plus, you can have a snack. Mmm snack, or for my weekly average I had been under calories, so today I got to have a not so food that pushed me over today, but still kept me under for the week overall.
50% is just to make sure that the calorie burn that is calculated is not exaggerated, as it's a generic calculation not accounting for things like hills when biking, or a super crazy enthusiastic Zumba instructor, or walking on a flat terrain in doors without any extra exertion.
