I don't think the S Health app can sync with MFP right now...might want to repost in the Fitness forum/search for a group and see what other users there have to say? I don't see S Health listed in the compatible apps here.

From what I can tell... I can't download S Health onto my phone.0

I believe you can only get the Gear Fit 2 to sync to MFP via the S Health app. That's how mine works. Gear Fit talks to S Health, S Health talks to MFP. It works fine for me, but I have an S7 phone.0

Samsung gear and iPhone are not compatible unfortunately. You can get the watch to pair with mfp but that's almost impossible using an iPhone.1

They just put it on the list a few months ago, but it's only available through the app.0 -
... This is depressing.
I just purchased an expensive price of equipment that I can't use on here.
Which is why I bought it.

I don't think it's worth syncing anyway. Just enter calorie "plus-ups" as exercise. The automated entries are sometimes over-generous.0

I found an app that will apparently sync my watch to Apple health. My watch is on the list of devices that the app is apparently compatible with.
But I can't seem to get it to work! I feel like such a luddite right now. I don't understand anything. I'm suspicious of this app....

S Health is the standard Samsung health app. Samsung and iPhone are massive competitors. IPhone doesn't support S Health.
Can you return it? Because without 3rd party app intervention (which is very unlikely to use the full range of capabilities and options) they won't talk. It's like buying a Nintendo controller for an Xbox.0 -
And i wouldn't trust the app you screenshoted. If they can't even get their description and features in proper English and grammatically correct, i wouldn't rely on their ability to produce a reliable app for your needs.
Also just because it might get your bracelet to track on that app on your phone, it won't make it connect to MFP. For that to happen, that app would need to synch with MFP. If that's what your after, you need a bracelet that connects with your phone and with MFP without 3rd party apps in between.0 -
Why not see if you can return it and get an apple watch instead?
On amazon the apple watch series 1 is around the same price as a samsung gear s2.0 -
Download mfp for the gear s2. Yes it syncs directly with s health0

Make sure you download the official Samsung Gear S app to your iPhone. According to the review I also linked below, the Samsung Gear S support is functional but subpar on the iPhone.
It looks like MFP does not support Samsung Gear at all. Perhaps sending a message directly to MFP support will get you some help, or post in the Suggestions/Feedback forum.

@bpetrosky - Samsung Gear syncs to sHealth which now syncs to MFP (just within the last month or 2 this was added). They are even giving Gear users a year of MFP premium.
I don't think the OP will be able to get the fitness data to MFP from the gear since she can't put shealth on her phone. Unless of course the gear app sends the data to apples health app.0 -
I agree the the advice of using an Apple watch with an iPhone, if possible. My point is that they can be useful even if there is no automatic link to MFP. I used Fitbit for a while and I ended up turning the link off.0
