I am in healthy weight range.

Most of my pants now are size 10 and most of my tops are medium or size 12 (australian sizes)

    But sometimes large.

and when I was in Vietnam and bought a jacket it was XXL B)

You really don't look like you need to loose 55 pounds. You look like you have a large bone frame, so I would think 30. You actually look good at your weight now. I'm in the "overweight" category and I'm a 8/10 in pants, or a 28/29 waist size. Tops, I have varying from small to large. If it's a button down shirt it's ALWAYS a large , so it doesn't gape or pull over my breasts. I also have broader shoulders from swimming and gymnastics.

Ultimately, your skeleton determines the smallest size you can wear. And XL to L, L to M, M to S and S to XS all reflect very differnt amounts of actual weight.

True story: My mom was 5'9" and 115 pounds when she was in college. She still took a size 13.
    I was 5'10" and 145 in high school, and I still took a 14.
When my daughter was a baby and I dropped back down to my high school weight? I was never smaller than a 14. I was nicely in "Normal" BMI territory, but I'm 5'10" and have very wide hips. And that's a "modern" 14, so we can't blame "size inflation" there.
