How did THAT happen?
Hi All,
I signed up to MFP I don't know how long ago, probably a couple of years. I've not done much about my weight and now it is at a ridiculous high.
so high that today I noticed bending down hurt, my stomach is getting in the way. I'm officially too heavy to ride my horse and it's really affecting my lifestyle.
I've spent so much time trying to accept myself I forgot to actually look after myself. I've been too busy looking at blogs of overweight ladies looking fabulous i have been concentrating on that and not what is going in my mouth. so... I want to do something about it, which is a much better place than thinking I need to do something about it.
I'm my own worst enemy though, aren't we all? I've been sitting here thinking about it all morning, haven't eaten anything, then went to the fridge to get some milk for coffee and spied the left over pizza from Saturday night and before I knew what I was doing i was eating it!! Only two bits thankfully before my brain kicked in with a WTVF and I put it down. I had to discuss it with myself though.
So here I am, again, on the road to losing weight, and being healthy.

Sounds like you are moving in the right direction for you. I respect women who can feel comfortable at any size, but it's a choice you have to make for yourself. I don't have any horses, but I miss riding and that is one of my motivations for losing weight as well!0
