Getting Married in Six weeks, HELP!!

Hi All,

I'm new to Myfitnesspal and am super excited after reading some of your success stories.
I've been working out only about 2-3 days per week but am up-ing that starting this week to 4 days a week, no less. I do mostly strength training at this point. I don't see any weight loss (I know I gained muscle) and am very discouraged.

My reason for writing:
Are there any workout suggestions for weight loss other than run, run run (which I am also attempting--not much of a runner)?

Any quick healthy meals that are filling that you can recommend? I did catch some in the recipes section. Just really looking for your go-to meal that doesn't leave you hungry. I'm always hungry and I hate it bc then I'm quick to grab some candy :-( I don't eat seafood.

Any help, advice, motivation any of you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I know six weeks isn't much time but I'm looking forward to that small step and seeing where I can go after that.
