This challenge is for proclaiming your goal to change your BMI Classification, a big milestone for many in their weight loss journey. Set the time-frame that works for you, and come here weekly for accountability
Starting: 296lbs - tippy top of Class 2 Obesity
Current: 264lbs - tippy top of Class 1 Obesity
Loss last week: -3.5 lbs
Goal: Reach Overweight BMI by August - 227lbs
For reference, the classifications are:
BMI Classification
< 18.5 underweight
18.5–24.9 normal weight
25.0–29.9 overweight
30.0–34.9 class I obesity
35.0–39.9 class II obesity
≥ 40.0 class III obesity
Starting: 296lbs - tippy top of Class 2 Obesity
Current: 264lbs - tippy top of Class 1 Obesity
Loss last week: -3.5 lbs
Goal: Reach Overweight BMI by August - 227lbs

goal: short term- my birthday, end of June 200lbs overweight 28.7

Started in August 2015, just 'overweight' for the first time in my entire life @ 69kg (152lb ish) - BMI 26.
Now back in mid range normal' @ 55kg (121lb ish) with BMI 21.
Getting out of that 'overweight' classification was a big thing.3 -

Long term goal is to hit healthy (aiming for sept)
Short term is to only be overweight...hoping to cross this line at this week's weigh in1 -

Current: 209 lbs/37.0 BMI
Goal: 130 lbs/23.0 BMI by however long it takes me. I'm still focusing on small progress. Was thrilled to see my BMI drop below 40, then below 39, etc.2 -

Starting: 158 lbs/31 bmi, obese
Current: 144 lbs/28 bmi, overweight (as of 4/1)
Goal: 125 lbs/24 bmi, normal by June
Weight as of 4/5: 141, 3 lbs loss but still same bmi. I definitely struggled this week and had to make it up in the last few days to reach my goal for the week. I'll be glad to see my bmi change next week, if I make it to 140 or under, but really worried too.

Getting to OVERWEIGHT BMI is on my To Do list.
Started 376# 57.1 BMI Morbidly Obese (2013)
Currently 220# 33.4 BMI Class 1 Obese
Goal 189# Overweight BMI 28.7 by 12/31/17.
I'm on the 52 pounds in 52 weeks challenge, down 11# since January.
At age 69 I am looking forward to being JUST overweight on my 70th BD next Feb!2 -

Current: 144 lbs/28 bmi, overweight (as of 4/1)
Goal: 125 lbs/24 bmi, normal by June
4/1: 144/28 bmi, overweight
4/5: 141/28 bmi (3 lbs loss but still same bmi)
4/12: 141/28 bmi, overweight (no loss this wk)
Wow, it's crazy how one cheat day due to a family gathering right before my weigh-in day just reversed my 1 lb loss mid-week. I mean... I was expecting that I wouldnt reach my 2 lb per week goal... but not to gain back the 1 lb that I just lost
I definitely need to go back to 1 cheat meal vs a cheat day! It's okay though, since I don't get to see family often, and eat mom's cooking which I love! What a treat!

I've been peeking in since this thread challenge posted ... and am going on the limb here to chime in and reveal my situation. But I'm going to go back ... w-a-y back to when I first joined MFP for weight loss support. And believe me ... that was a long time ago but I still am 'way too much of a good thing'.
starting: 282 lbs / 50.0BMI
current : 240 lbs / 42.5 BMI
Goal 2017: 199 lb / 35.3 BMI
Goal .... : 165 LB / 29.2 BMI3 -

Realizing that 125 lbs/healthy bmi by June might be a stretch for me as the weight is coming off slooowww. I might have to rethink this goal and give myself more time1 -

The SBMI analysis is interesting, it gives me more wiggle room since I too am "overweight" instead of "obese" in their view. Their normal category is 20 lbs higher, for me. I think I'll stay with my old target but SBMI is probably a more realistic analysis of Risk.

I've finally taken the time to compile this, but here it goes...
I've had to slow my weight loss these past months because hormones suck, so I'm keeping my goals on a the realistic side. I'm in this for the long run and an extra year or two won't really make a huge difference to me.

Once I hit each short term goal, I will give myself a reward of some description! I will have more short term goals between 2 and end, but will determine them nearer that time.
Right now MFP recommends 1900 cals, and once I'm back on my feet (car accident Monday casing whiplash) I'll be back in the gym for classes 3 sessions a week. I will also monitor and adjust this as needed
