Issue with late night eating?

Hey everyone, in the last couple months I've developed a habit of late night eating. Now I'm not overweight, I'm at a reasonable weight but I am trying to lose a little more of my fat percentage and gain muscle.
I have an issue with late night cravings. I tend to overeat a lot after dinner. Does anyone have advice or tips to help?

Find an activity to do during that time that is hard to do while you are eating.0

Eat less early in the day to save calories for the night?0

I tend to do this too while I am working on homework and things at night. I found that if I will brush my teeth right after dinner I won't eat anything else because I'd have to brush my teeth again.0
