High-Protein Bread without Nuts?

I've been consistently nailing my fiber goals -- exceeding it by a fair deal, in fact -- but my protein intake's been coming up a bit short. Now, I have a breadmaker at my disposal, and I'd like to leverage that for what I can, but I'm struggling to come up with healthful recipes for bread that would give me a significant protein boost rather than primarily adding to my fiber excess.

I've found several online, but they all seem to share a common problem: they use nuts, which I would like to avoid. I don't have allergies, but I have never been fond of the texture of most nuts, and that would be an even bigger problem with them mixed into the vastly-preferred texture of fresh bread.

So. Does anyone know any good recipes for bread with a fairly robust protein content that doesn't have nuts, but is still delicious?
