....have had that second cookie!
I don't feel guilt per say, just feel a bit cruddy. Lots of cookies and doughnuts at work past day or so and they have fitted into goals, but am feeling really over sugared.
Clearly the boredom won in the Battle of the Second Cookie.
But blergh. Will store this feeling and use it against boredom in future, cos it ain't fun! Hope it goes away in time for classes tonight, do not want to struggle through Combat and Pump!
Anyone else over sugared recently?

-raises hand- Me for sure! While I'm definitely a proponent of everything in moderation, last week was anything BUT moderate for me and I ate piles and piles of chocolate, caramel, cookies, you name it. I felt so sick by the end of the week. And yesterday, I may or may not have consumed an entire pie... (I actually planned for that. And then I destroyed my daily goal by diving headfirst into a large can of mixed nuts. Oops.)1

ooh what pie? savoury or sweet? I have demolished whole lemon meringue once. Lovely as the tart lemon, sweet meringue and middling crust means you don't OD on any one flavour haha.
yeah nuts are baaad!

Ha, mine was lemon too! Although it wasn't meringue (I wish it was...), it was just a pudding pie that I made for a belated Pi day treat. (Any excuse to eat pie!) I could have just eaten lemon pudding, really, but I wanted that crust...
I ate about 1000 calories of nuts, and they definitely weren't worth it. Mostly peanuts, the nut mix was very lacking in cashews (my favorite nut!).0 -
oh it really sucks when after it wasn't worth it!
I have a jar of cashew peanut butter in the cupboard! best thing ever!0 -

Oh golly, I'm jealous. I live in Saudi Arabia and it's REALLY hard to get the more exotic spreads here, and I've never gotten to try cashew butter, as much as I would love to. We have a "specialty" grocery store here that does a lot of importing from the US and UK, so I've been keeping my eye out when I go there to see if they ever get cashew butter! I was ecstatic when they started carrying cookie butter (which is my absolute kryptonite. I make a MEAN soft-baked cookie butter cookie!)0 -
WOW never heard of cookie butter, but yes, sounds dangerous in the extreme!!
maybe they would order you some cashew butter to the store? might be worth an ask?0 -

Cookie butter is DANGEROUS. It's literally a sandwich spread made of COOKIES! This is one of the top brands of it: http://www.biscoff.com/indulge/biscoff-cookie-butter
My husband loves to eat it on bread every morning... My favorite way to eat it is with a spoon or in a warm soft-baked cookie!
Unfortunately, here in Saudi Arabia nobody caters to the customer--there's no such thing as "the customer is always right" or any of that sort of thing. If I asked them to make a special order for me they'd probably sarcastically ask if I'm going to pay for the whole minimum-order-500-jars or something ridiculous like that. So I just keep waiting and hoping they'll eventually stock it! I see more and more new things coming in as time goes by, so if it gets popular enough I think it'll arrive eventually.

ahhh I know the biscoff one well! have it also in the cupbaord and yes, it says sandwich spread but what it really means is 'just use a spoon!'
we make ice cream smoothies with it too, just ice cream, milk and biscoff spread. Maybe some amaretto or vodka if feeling grown up!
fingers crossed it will!0 -

That sounds amazing--I think I'm going to need to try that! I sometimes make a "mousse" using peanut butter and whipped cream, and it just occurred to me that cookie butter "mousse" would be reeeeeeally good. (Uh oh.)
