    I don't "snack", I eat meals, but I'll eat anything I want on occasion.

    I have a long stretch between lunch and dinner so usually plan a snack. Usually crunchy veg (carrot, celery, cucumber) + protein (hummus, peanut butter, cottage cheese)

    muscle food pork scratchings - absolutely amazing!
    homemade oaty bar stuff
    banana
    apple
    hard boiled eggs
    rice cakes

    all can be used to defeat boredom at 2/3pm at work or before an evening workout

    I eat apple or a banana and once/twice per week I eat... Snickers ice cream! Yeah I love it :-). And it didn't stop me for dropping and then maintaining weight. I just have to make sure to include it in my calories calculation and it's grand.

    I call it hanger deterrant rather than snack :)
