MFP exercise calculator: net or gross

Does anyone know whether, when entering exercise in the diary, MFP calculators exercise calories using net or gross? Eg. if i walk for 20 minutes and the diary says i burned 100 calories, is that entirely in extra calories i burned from doing the activity or does that include the 25 or so calories i would already have burned in that time from BRM? I'm happy using either type of calculator but i just want to be sure which one I'm using.

Nevermind i found the answer buried in an old post from a few years ago. In case anyone else is wondering, it calculates in gross0

And for those wandering in to this thread, go to the web version APPS > BMR and get your current daily BMR value as calculated by MFP (your BMR changes as your current weight changes).
Then divide that number by 1440 minutes to get your current BMR/minute.
Multiply the BMR/minute number by the total number of minutes logged for the exercise, then subtract the BMR during those minutes to get the net estimated value for burned Calories.1
