Supplements?

Do you take supplements? If so, what do you take and why?

I take a multi-vitamin, every day. I take melatonin (it does seem to help me sleep sounder), biotin (not a super high dosage) , a super-b, and 2 fiber gummies.

Vitamin D in the winter (Oct - April or so): I live in Canada. We need it.
Multi with iron: I'm a blood donor. And a woman. I need it if I want to stay eligible to donate blood. It also has folic acid, which is good if you plan on children (it's most important to take it for a few months pre-conception). I'm done with making babies, but I have leftover vitamins so I just take 'em.

Right now I take a prenatal multi and 2000IU of vitamin D twice a week. I'm still nursing and we are trying for another baby. I take the vitamin D because I live in Alaska and don't get enough sun for my body to make its own vitamin D.

I take quite a variety of supplements for adrenal support. Then again I'm a huge believer in supplements. I currently take Holy Basil, Korean Ginseng, Bacopa, Ashwagandha, Astragalus, Licorice Root, B-6 for energy, and Gingko Baloba (which is a recent addition). I have a multivitamin but I hate taking that thing. It's a freakin horse pill. Why do they have to be so big? LOL :s

I currently take nothing regularly....I feel like I am eating a varied and nutrional diet so don't need them.
I do take melatonin (for sleep) as needed, and fiber gummies (for deuce) as needed also :-1:

A multi with omega 3, a crap ton of VD3 since I just found out I'm deficient, and calcium/magnesium.

Omega 3-6-9 because I don't like or eat oily fish but I think they're beneficial.
Calcium plus magnesium and D3. I'm a woman, family history of osteoporosis, and I don't get enough solely from my diet.
Iron (2 or 3 times a week). I'm always bordering on anemic. I hate supplementing iron though. The digestive side effects are icky.

I feel like I take a lot, some I just recently started taking though-a multivitamin, krill oil, biotin (I have PCOS and am concerned that my hair is thinning), Cosamine DS (my knees make crunching sounds), a probiotic, and myo-inositol (supposed to help the symptoms of PCOS).
