tipping point

Has anyone out there been successful enough to get to the metabolism tipping point? Is it possible to reach a point where you can eat healthy and not have to be totally consumed with exercise anymore? How did you do it? It seems like you have to get to a low bmi and have a lot of lean muscle mass...

You don't need to be consumed by exercise at all to lose weight. I dropped the first 50 lbs I lost without doing any exercise beyond my normal life, which didn't change from before I started losing. Exercise is more about body shape management and overall health. Honestly, I didn't have to really start thinking hard about exactly what I was eating and what exercise I was doing until I was back into a healthy body fat and trying to get it down into the fit range.0
