Teen vs adult

So here's a debate. Say two people were on a 1500 calorie diet: a 30 year old and a 15 year old. Who would lose weight faster? I say the adult because our bodies are capable of taking in less food because we are finished growing. Thoughts? ☺

Too many factors to consider other than age, eg gender, current weight, height, exercise, body comp, NEAT...etc etc
If all things were equal other than age, a 15 year old would likely need more calories as they would probably still be growing..therefore it is possible that the 15 year old would lose more weight

By that logic, it would be the 15 year old that lost weight fastest; if they still have growing to do, that small amount of food is going to go toward growing, thus increasing the kid's deficit. Also kids have faster metabolisms.
This is all hypothetical though, right? Please tell me you're not a 15 year old trying to lose weight using methods and a site geared toward adult bodies.2 -

By your logic wouldn't the adult lose slower? Not growing = needs less calories = burns less calories = slower weight loss.
A teen, who is still growing and is capable of taking in more calories without gaining weight, would lose faster on the same amount of calories as a non-growing adult.1
