After thousands of daily 10000 M erg rows I could not take it any more! Finally tried the interval option under the select your workout. Love it, good for another thousand rows!

Worth trying it, you long term rowers.

    Nicely done!
Not a rower myself but when I do occasionally use the rower I really do enjoy doing lactic intervals (not pre-programmed but I think there likely will be an option).

Steady state cardio on any equipment is good for general calorie burning and strengthening the most important muscle you have (the heart) but for anything more advanced, to really get more benefits from any cardio - you need to be working lactic and cp energy systems!

The rower is a great piece of kit, just doesn't agree with me! I do a lot of running and it puts me out of action for days after doing any kind of effective rowing session!

If you've just been doing straight 10K rows, and now using the interval workout selection, that's still limited variety. If you don't have a training program to follow, maybe consider checking out the Concept 2 workout of the day, if you haven't done so already, just to mix things up a bit.

No, I'm not affiliated with them. I'm just some random rower who's confined to using the machine when the river gets crunchy in the winter. So less fun than on-water, even more so if you don't vary the workout! ;)

It's nice to mix it up, the preset 30/30 on the concept is my fav go to for cardio.
