Well the word seems sort of nagging at me and it seems to be a thorn in my side as I can't seem to find any motivation! I go to church and God motivates and my Mass does this to me but as far as being motivated physically!! I have a chair at home and a bike for exercising but to no avail when I first got the chair I used it twice and it was a pricey chair and I also have a "free" membership to a gym via my insurance but been several times then got sick been back once since then. I consider myself a "get up n' go person but my motivation has just turned into "blank " promises that I make to "ME" every Monday I make this pledge and that is all it is a pledge and it might last an hour that is it! I have decided to join the walking club at the senior center and see what happens I used to be a avid walker until I had a heart attack and then it went out the door and I am off meds for my heart which is a blessing but that should rock my motivation to jumpstart the walking but no so if there are any suggestions that you may come to mind please let me know I am trying to get motivation physically as I am on the Spiritual Track and that is working one day at a time now the weight!! Thanks for reading!!

God gave us these bodies and if you believe in being a good steward of the things that He's put in our possession then taking care of our bodies is part of that. Also, when you promise someone else you will do something for them I bet you follow through. Why would we respect ourselves less than someone else? I have often wondered why I would give everyone else my best but give myself the scraps and leftovers. I made up my mind to be my own best friend...to talk to myself the way I would talk to my best friend, to follow through on promises like I would my best friend, and to be honest with myself the same as I would my best friend. Hopefully something struck a chord and can nudge you on ever so slightly to be the best you that you can be:)1

You could do these things regardless of how "motivated" you feel. Habit is the key to success!0
