Mfp is set to sedatory. I work 5 days a week but only 4hours a day. I just make sandwiches for 4 hours so on my feet but not much walking about other than to the fridge. I think sedatory is the right setting but wondered what you guys thinks. So i work for 4 hours go gym an hour the clean the hpuse, take a nap lol!! I do put my work in as cardio 240mins of food prep and it says i burn around 600kcal

Go with sedentary and do NOT log your work time since that's already part of your activity level. If you find you lose quicker than expected over a 3-4 week span, then go to lightly active.0

Log your gym workout but not your job. If you can keep your phone on you, tracking your steps might be worthwhile - some people think they don't move much, but they really do and vice versa.

Oh right well i thought as my job is almost a hobby i would sedatory and just log but if that's not a good idea i wont! Bit gutted because it gave me a lot of extra calories!! Haha i am losing weight and quite rapidly logging it so if i don't log it I'll lose a lot quicker!! MFP has set me to 1200 so if i just log my work out the most i can have is 1400 bit oh well itll be worth it won't it!!0

I'm guessing you can't sync your pedometer here? If that's the case, following @jemhh 's suggestion to leave yourself as sedentary for now and give it 3-4 weeks to see how things go. If you're losing faster than expected, switch to lightly active

No!! I just got a cheap one for the main! I have no money ATM! Haha! But getting a new phone next week so will be able to sync hopefully! Okay thank you for the advice!1
