I love foods that are high in sodium, I know it's bad but it's hard for me to stop eating things with lots of salt and I retain a lot of water because of it. I went over my sodium limit yesterday by like 1,013 smh. Certain foods just taste bland without salt. Any advice would help as far as taste is concerned. I'm trying.

Increase potassium (lite salt and NoSalt are awesome for this) and drink more water. Problem solved.1

Mrs. Dash has a range of seasonings that should do the trick have you been checked for HTN?0

It is not bad at all. It is only bad if you are hypertonic and you doctor told you to reduce it.
If you like it, eat it. For example I have low blood pressure and was advised to increase it.
What is it that bothers you about retaining water?
