Oh, and i was standing in front of the icecream freezer for ages looking for it, and it was nowhere to be found. I thought i drove all that way for nothing! I eventually found it in the "Health food freezer section" after frantically hunting down a staff member lol
Let me know what you think when you try it.0 -

They had the basic flavours, choc/vanilla/birthday cake so i got a tub of the chocolate and i also bought another brand called 'whey whip peanut butter choc nut crunch' flavour, so i can mix them together. I can not get over how small these tubs are, especially as i just forked out $21 for effing icecream!!
They had slightly melted by the time i got home, i couldn't help myself and had to have a little try.. I'm super impressed, the halo top was creamy and delicious, and the peanut butter whey whip was equally as good!
I'm definitely saving these for when i don't have many calories left for dessert, definitely wont be an every night thing, I'll go broke lol
I'm glad you liked it! A bit melted is actually the best way to eat it. I always put mine on 'soften ice cream' in the microwave for 45 seconds before having some.0 -
Definitely good ice cream but way overpriced. I save a ton of money just buying Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom ice cream over Halo Top and simply drinking a protein shake after my workouts. As an added benefit the BB Sweet Freedom has a lot of fiber in it as well if you're falling short on that macro.0

My husband discovered this...he LOVES ice cream. It was good, but for the price I'm not sure I wouldn't rather just splurge at our local frozen yogurt place every once in a while. Still, I had the peanut butter last night with a squirt of chocolate syrup...YUM. Melty is better.
I was thinking it was crazy high with the carbs...but really no worse than "real" ice cream.0 -
It's OK but way overpriced - and although the taste is fine, it's no substitute from the mouth feel you get from real full fat ice cream.2

Yes, some flavors taste better. Love this occasional treat. But here it only cost $ 4.99 at Wegmans. Store us unfortunately only on the East Coast.0

I am glad someone likes the stuff.0

They sell a four pack of Halo Top at Costco for $12? I'll have to go sometime. I've been spending $5.99 at Whole Foods, per pint!0
