Fruit juice is quite high in calories...you probably should limit it.0 -
Like...immediately after? I drink water with every meal and gain weight. Stay under a deficit and that weight will come off.0

It is full of sugar - lots of calories - if it pushes you over your allotted calories you will gain weight....You are better off eating the fruit - the fibre is good for you....0
-
Its high in sugar too...not really all that great for you0

Log everything - even fresh fruit juice. That's the only way you can be sure how many calories you're really consuming. Everything has calories, even fresh fruits and vegetables. That doesn't mean you shouldn't eat it. It just means you should be mindful of it.0

If you are making your own juice, add some veggies to that to make it healthier.
If you are talking about fruit juice you buy at the store, stop buying it and invest in a juicer. The store bought juice is full of sugar and the nutrients have pretty much been processed right out of the juice regardless of what the label claims.0 -

Well figure it this way... 113 calories per 8oz of apple juice. 97 calories in coke classic for 8oz.
That said the apple juice is way better for you since it has nutrient value, but not necessarily lower calorie. You MUST log everything you eat and drink bar none. Because you drink it doesn't make it any less negative than anything you eat.0 -
Ummm - yeah. Fruit juice is really high in calories. If you're drinking 100-300 calories of juice or more each meal that's going to really add up fast.0

I personally would not drink it at every meal, limit the intake and maybe you would be better off eating the fruit sometimes.....example is if you drink fresh orange juice then try to eat a orange it is lower in calories and has a little more substance.
Wish you luck0 -
If you are tracking your calories and are under your TDEE you will lose weight. Juice will not make you gain weight unless you are eating at a surplus.
Ensure you measure your juice properly. You don't get much juice in a cup that has over 100 calories in it. Those calories would be better used for real food.
I drink one glass of homemade fruit and vegetable juice a day. The store bought juices are high in calories, high in added preservatives and high in added sugar.0 -
I perfer to eat my fruit and vegetables rather than drink them. If I'm drinking something calorie laden, it better be booze.0
