I've gained 6lb in 4 weeks since having a prostap injection and starting hrt to bring on medical menopause. Anyone else had this? Nothing else has changed except having this done. I'm concerned I'm gonna gain more. ..help!!

I gain weight in having a new mirena coil each time I've had 3 also my weightloss slows or stops fur a few weeks then it's okay
It's probably to do with lots extra hormones effecting you
People will say it doesn't but I was told by a consultant ( top doctor ) in hospital hormonal medications do gains lots women weight it's to do with retention in your fat cells etc

Just keep on plan inches should drop maybe ignore the scales for a few weeks

Thanks for your reply. Yes I'm really concerned all of a sudden I feel like I'm round! ! Gonna mention it when I go back in 3 months. ..hopefully I won't gain anymore! !
