Stretch Marks Getting Darker?

I have lost 95.4 pounds so far and it has taken just over a year. I have 32 pounds left to lose to be at the middle of my healthy weight range per the BMI calculator on this site. Lately I have noticed my stretch marks turning red and getting darker. Has any one else had this happen as they approached an "ideal" weight or after losing a significant amount of weight?

They will lighten up in time. Your skin is shrinking back down so naturally they would appear more pigmented as the area shrinks. Like I said, with time they'll lighten up0

I second fascha...just like after pregnancy they will lighten. Give it 18 months to 2 years. You'll see a difference.0

Thanks. They are old stretch marks that had already faded to match my skin color, but with the weight loss they are darkening again. Patience has been a huge part of this process so I'll just practice a little more.3
