What is usually more accurate. The calories burned that's kept track by the gym equipment or my Fitbit with HR?

Likely neither. Only way to tell for sure is over time with your logging. I'd take whichever is less, then eat back maybe 50-60% of those and see how things go over a period of 6 weeks or more. If you're losing more than you anticipated, eat more of them back, if you're losing less than you anticipated eat less of them back. Adjust then wait 6 weeks or more again to see how the adjustment worked. Since you have the fitbit HR with you at all times, even if it's the higher of the two, you may be ahead just to use it and use the method I mentioned. Eventually you'll get a feel for what percentage of those calories it says you burned are accurate for you, because it's different for everyone. Also, as you lose weight and become more fit, you'll burn less in the same amount of time so you may need to adjust as you go.0

Its really just a guess and most gym equipment I suspect is on the high side to make people "feel" good. I have noticed that different sized runners will have very different burns for the same distance because the app knows your height, weight and distance traveled. Machines on the other hand may only ask about weight if that. My running app has me at about 1000 calories at the seven mile mark but I don't think of it as the gospel.0
