So, like many others, I started my journey on Jan 1 as a new year resolution. Many quit, but I kept with it. Beginning weight was 235 lbs. I wanted to get down to my fighting weight of 180 lbs, which is how much I weighed when I got out of the Marines 9 years ago. I decided I wanted to do this in phases.

Phase 1: I started making smarter decisions with what I ate, but didn't hold myself to any strict diet or calorie counting. My wife had became an It Works distributor and I wanted to put these supplements to the test. I wasn't going to work out, I wasn't going to go with any extreme diet. I was going to test these supplements out. See if it really works. Just 60 days in, I lost 30 lbs. I've currently been hovering around 205 lbs for around 3 weeks. The problem is, that I hit a plateau. I wasn't going to implement "Phase 2: Calorie Count and Exercise" until I hit my initial goal weight of 200 lbs. Long story short, I implemented Phase 2 just last week and have started working out and as of today, have started counting my calories. I've lost another belt notch since I hit my plateau while still hovering at 205, which tells me I'm putting on muscle and losing fat still. By the way, It really does Work! lol

I work full time, take 3 college classes, am dad to an ornery 1 year baby girl and don't have much time for much else, but my health must be a priority and I plan to stick to this and make it happen. Please, if you have any words of advice or comments, please feel free to comment. Also, I would love some accountability partners if you would like to add me as a friend on here.
