Do you visit friends while they are sick?
My guy friend and I made plans to hang out Thursday but I'm sick so today he texted me "do you still want to hang out Thursday ?" I said "if I'm feeling better than yeah" and he said "I still want to see you even if you are sick" and I said "I don't want you get a cold" and he said "I'll be okay" then he texted me and asked me "can I come take care of you" I didn't text back because I don't understand why we can't wait until I'm not sneezing and coughing everywhere
I told him that I had not just any type of cold it is more like a mucus cold. Even though I want to hang out I rather wait until I feel 100% ... I haven't been to the gym in a week that's how sick I am lol

Sounds like he thinks of your friendship as being more than must friends.5

Guys...even nice guys typically don't do this unless they're interested in you beyond a platonic friendship. He likes you...I've done the same thing in my youth.7 -

The desire to trade bodily fluid is a telltale sign.8 -
^^ Definitely. He's persistent even through sickness, which means he cares more than you seem to think.5

That is sweet, to want to take care of you.
But I understand your reluctance. Personally I prefer to be left alone to nurse my misery when I have a snotty cold. But if I had a bad back or some kind of injury I would appreciate the offer of someone to take care of me and help me out.
Yes I would visit a sick friend to offer help as long as they weren't throwing up every five minutes can't deal with that.2 -
I would help a friend who needed a hand, definitely. But I'd only be so insistent and offer to "take care of" somebody I wanted to "take care of..."4

Only if they need help with something or in a hospital2

He's in love with you...or at the very least wants to have sex with you. I'm probably the 10th person on this thread to say this...we can't all be wrong.4

And yes sometimes I will. Dependant on what they have and how they are feeling.Avocado_AS5 wrote: »I had this happen to me once.

Thanks girls for answering0 -
"Do you visit friends while they are sick?"
Not to hang out. I believe people should rest when they are sick.
I might offer to bring them something or come over and do some chores for them though if they live alone.1 -
Pffft... I don't even visit friends when they're healthy.8

Do you visit friends while they are sick?
Not usually, but I do bring over food if they are sick for a longer period or can't do much.0 -

Truth. That's my kind of friend. 'Remember that time 5 years ago when we went bowling? That was fun!' 'Yeah, that was the last time we saw each other. I'm glad we're still such good friends!'1 -
I'd ask my friends if they needed me to bring them anything, yeah. But I would probably not hang out much more than that.0
