I just want to make sure I'm correct on this
My BMR is 2092.
So if I multiple my BMR by 1.375 for Light Exercise I come up with a TDEE of 2876.5, now if I subtract 1000 from that, I get 1876.5 calories so I can be in a 1000 calorie deficit to lose 2 lb's per week, correct?
On days I do not go to the gym I consume 1510 calories a day, (2092 x 1.2 - 1000)
So days I go to the gym: 1876 calories.
Days I do not go to the gym: 1510 calories.
I go to the gym 4 days a week for an hour each day. 30 mins weight training, 30 mins cardio.
Once I get home I do nothing but sit on my computer playing games, no activity outside of the gym, same for days I don't go to the gym.
Weight: 245 lb's
Height: 5'9
Age: 24
Male.
Would this be correct?

You would actually consume the 1876 every day, since your exercise is averaged out over the week. But that's also if a 1000-calorie deficit is appropriate for you. What are your stats?0

Body fat %: 34%
Starting weight was 286 lb's
Also, why would I not consume less calories on days I do nothing but sit around?0 -
What you said appears correct. However, if you use MFP then it will do those calculations for you.0

If you are going to use the tdee method, it averages out your exercise cals over the week. Otherwise you can use MFP s method (NEAT) and only eat back exercise cals when you log them.0
