confused about bananas

I heard that ice cream made from frozen bananas has such a great mouthfeel because they contain fat. Just looked up bananas in the database and all the entries I looked at said 0 fat. An old calorie guide I have says a little over 1 gr of fat. Now, that's not the world, but either they contain fat or they don't. Any insight?

They contain very, very little fat.

Not enough fat to create any "mouth feel." Not enough to cause a problem if you have a medical reason to watch fats, either.

See how many grams of banana you have to log to get to 1 gram of fat or sodium, because 100 grams is 0 of both.

The fibres in banana do get a creamy stretchy sticky icecreamy feel when they are frozen then blended.

It's not because of fat it's because of their high pectin content.

U can add avocado in the mixture. The taste will be better, smoother and more nutritious
