Problem at the gym
Hi guys, does anyone have any advise?
This same guy has been using the bench I usually use at the gym right before me and leaving it reaaaally sweaty. he looks like he came out of a shower, but it's sweat, and he leaves it on the bench. Idk if I could catch something from him, so I've been spending lots of time just wiping it down. Then I have to change the really heavy plates he leaves on, so by the time im all done, i'm too tired to work out! This is also my home gym.
Help?!

Speak up, tell him you don't appreciate having to clean up after him.0

I knew you shouldn't have married that guy.0
-
next time this happens, hand the dude a towel and divorce papers.0

I would wipe the sweat off with a towel and then stuff the towels inside his pillowcase for a while.0

Hahahahaha!0 -
***** to management and make them deal with the problem....
or go after him with a wet, twisted towel.0 -
Just break up?0

ooooh, this is good too!0 -
Does he shave his back hair? Back hair is designed to help wipe up the wost of the bench sweat.0

Set your alarm clock and get there first. Then leave a nice puddle of butt sweat on the bench for him--so he knows how it feels.0

Can you not go at a different time? If not clean it yourself and make a massive deal of it! Might get the picture I would hahah!0

He doesn't have any. Maybe I should stop shaving mine though?0 -
lay a maxi pad on the bench after you're done... whether it's used or not, he won't touch the thing. you'll never have this problem again
of course someone from my FL would suggest this. lol0 -

Do they make a shirt equivalent of these anti-pervert stockings?

Itching powder get in first, then stand back and laugh.0

Personally, I'd just be glad that he's inclined to workout. My dh doesn't and I'd love him to lose some weight and buff up again. I'd even clean the bench for him.0

I had what I thought was a humorous response. Then I saw this, and knew I couldn't top it.
You win the internetz. :drinker: :flowerforyou:0 -
By home gym, do you mean the local gym you go to all the time or a gym in your house?
I assume you mean the gym where you're a member.
I'd speak to him directly either way. If that doesn't work, I'd speak to management.0 -

I would move away from Michigan, those people are all hairy and sweaty!!!0

I wonder if you can manipulate the workout space some how, with an offensive odor or a bucket of ice cold water.0

I'm pretty much the only person who works out with a towel at my gym...seriously, I'm known as the guy who squats a lot and always has a bath towel (yeah I'm lazy and use the same towel after I shower...sue me).0
