I heard many things on this subject and I'm confused, some say if you can see your shoulder bones and color bones ribs etc you are underweight others say it's normal. I'm 5'8 maybe a little taller female I weight 128/130and my color bone is very noticeable my mom always says it's sick looking lol and my shoulder bone sticks out which I hate. Is that normal ? I'm larger boned and have wider shoulders....Thanks guys :)

We're all a little different, so what's normal for you might not be for someone else. Some women value the appearance of collarbones, others don't think it looks so good. It's up to you.

Your BMI puts you at the low end of the normal range. If you think it would improve your appearance to put a few pounds on, that would be fine. If you like the way you look, you should not feel any pressure to change.

I am on the high end of my healthy weight BMI but carry most of my fat in the lower half of my body, so I have small wrists, arms, and my collar bones show.

Sometimes it's just the way you are.

I'm 5'8, 149lbs and my collar bones jut out and my arms are like twigs. I dread to think what i'd look like at 130lbs :worried:

ETA: There's a pic in my profile, 3rd one along wearing a white top that kinda shows what i mean re; my collar bones.
