Feeling run down

I think I might be fighting off something and or this weather is making me groggy. Today I can't get out of my own way. I feel like if I don't get off my butt and workout it will be a downward spiral.
I did walk a mile and a half this morning but I have little to no energy now.
Do I rest today and work harder tomorrow or do I push through the run down feeling and just work out?

How big is your deficit? Not eating enough could cause this too. Do you take a multivitamin? Specifically with some vitamin D? It is that time of year. Depression, seasonal or otherwise, is another possibility.
Is there an active activity that like and makes you happy? Salsa dancing is one for me. It's exercise but doesn't feel like it.
If you are just feeling run down, I would still do something, unless or until you get really sick. More exercise means more happy as long as you're eating enough.
Hope you feel better!0 -
I have only come a couple hundred below the recommended caloric intake. I actually take a vitamin d supplement per my doctor's orders. I was fine this morning but I have progressively gotten more tired since the day has gone on. My boyfriend is currently sick with something he got at work, so part of me wonders if I'm coming down with it as well.

In that case, I suggest a REALLY hot bath and a nap or early bedtime. Nothing kicks the crud like a couple extra hours of sleep if you can manage it. The induced pseudo fever also helps kill it and relaxes you. I also really like those Strawberry C Monsters. Those three things work for me about half of the time.0
