So I've shredded the pounds... and lost it from my behind. Keeping macros balanced and high in protein whilst doing heavier glute focused workouts... any glute activating excersizes that are easy to add to my routine?

Another vote for Strong Curves. The program includes hip thrusts/glute bridges at least 3-4x per week, as well as other glute exercises: squats, deadlifts, abductions, lunges, extensions etc.
For glute activation, you want to do the exercises daily, also before your workouts to wake up the glute muscles.
-Bird dogs, hip extensions, fire hydrants, bodyweight abductions, clamshells, etc
Keep in mind, you will find the most glute growth and progress eating at maintenance or surplus.. so make sure you are fueling adequately.1 -
Just simple glute squeezes will also help with getting those muscles used to activation.0

Get some minibands! So many glute and hip activation exercises you can do.1
