increased exercise/increased calorie

I have not seen the scale move in over a month now. Therefore, I increased my calorie intake since I have increased my exercise. Just started this today. Any input on if this is going to work or not? I am 4'11 37yrs old weigh 166 and I exercise atleast 5 days a week for atleast an hour. I am a nurse so I don't have a seditary job. Any ideas etc is greatly appreciated. I did do my measurements and have only lost an inch at my weist and an inch at my hips in the last month
