Can I eat those they said "Cheat Meals" more than once a week but still fitting it in my calorie budget? I could eat anything what i want especially sweets log it all having it fit still on my calorie budget. The question is does I abandoned my weight loss plans? I still having a deficit even i eat those sweet treats.

The way I look at it, if you cheat once your more opt to do it again, and again, and again. Once you overcome a craving or two for sweets, and reduce your added sugar intake...you likely won't even want to eat junk. They are just empty calories, and even if you stay within your calorie goal you my max out or exceed your daily sugar and fat goal.

If it fits your calorie budget, it's not cheating. I fit beer, tacos, and chicken wings into my budget multiple times a week.

I don't think of foods as bad or good. Some are more calorie dense yes, so I eat smaller portions of those but I do not eliminate them entirely.

When you eat sweets but stay in your calorie budget you have not abandoned your weight loss plan.

How much sweets are you talking about? 150 calories out of 1500 vs 500 calories out of 1500 are two very different scenarios.

If I load up on sweets I don't feel full and it is impossible for me to stick to my calorie budget. However, I can make a few servings of fruit and a little chocolate fit no problem.

+1 to the above: For weight loss, staying within your calorie goal is what matters, not what you eat.

That said, if cheats/treats/sweets are driving out needed nutrition - causing you to fall short on protein, healthy fats, veggies'n'fruits (for fiber & micronutrients) - then that's potentially a problem of another sort. Good nutrition is important for health, of course!

It's like a financial budget: If you spend too much money on toys & good times, you may be short on rent money. Good nutrition is like paying the rent for a healthy body. ;)
