Preventing Chaffing?

I have been walking a lot. Unfortunately I have been getting chaffing a lot. I have been using baby powder at bed time and that helps but does anyone know of anything to prevent it? I went walking 3 times yesterday and the chaffing was pretty bad. I used baby powder last night but it's not fully healed today. :(

Vaseline will save you! Put it on all your chaffing zones, I even use it to prevent blisters on my feet when running anything over 10k.

    Baby powder makes it worse.

Besides the body glide, look for wicking fabrics.

Baby powder hasn't ever made it worse for me, but like I said, I use it at night to help it heal and it has worked unless I am just chaffed beyond repair. But, I have never heard of vaseline. I'll have to give it a try.

Spandex always kept me from having inner thigh chafing when on long walks or ruck marches when I was still in the Army.

Get a proper base layer and u will be fine. Simple as that but if u want to apply product instead you can do it that way but why not just prevent it with something simple

spandex shorts as a base layer and then anything else on top if you want

Body Glide or Blister Shield will both save you from chafing, and don't stain as much as vasoline.
