Shaking muscles

Lately I've found that after doing weights, my arms are trembling doing every day activities. And my arms will just spasm on their own.
I use a 6kg kettle bell and lift about 3 times a week.
Is spasming something to just ignore and put it down to the weights straining my muscle? Or worth seeing a doctor?

I remember that happening. It was a little spot on my arm or leg that would just bounce up and down for a few minutes all by itself. I never took it to a doctor and I don't know why it happened.
How are you making sure to get adequate electrolytes of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium? Electrolytes are critical for proper nerve functioning. Nerves control muscles. Spasming muscles are out of control.0 -
It doesn't seem right to me. I definitely indulge (within a calorie limit)!!
Would generic vitamin supplements do the trick?
Blood tests about 6 months ago had shown I was severely lacking in Vitamin D and b12 but I had injections and pills from those.

Have you recently changed your stimulant intake, caffeine, from coffee or diet sodas?0

A certain shakiness or light flutters when you start a new program are to be expected, but flat out spasms might have to do with electrolytes. Have you tried increasing your sodium and potassium? What is your calorie level? Have you changed your carb level lately?0

I've recently tried to steer clear of highly caffeinated drinks as they tend to give me symptoms of a panic attack which ends up leading to panic attacks! I do drink tea at work though. So if anything, I've cut about half of what I'd normally drink out.amusedmonkey wrote: »A certain shakiness or light flutters when you start a new program are to be expected, but flat out spasms might have to do with electrolytes. I haven't actively tried - I never add salt to anything but never been bothered about it being in food. I will try and add more sodium and potassium and see if it helps!
I'm on 1200 (I'm 5'2 and 75kg) but I eat back most of my exercise calories. I wear a fitness band so it's pretty accurate.
I eat carbs! Don't think I could be without carbs!0
