Many people think they want to lose weight. My friends the number on the scale doesn't make you look good in clothes, your body does. Don't concentrate on the number on the scale, concentrate on how your clothes fit, how you feel and what you put on your mouth. If you are physically able, you will need to lift weights along with HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) cardio for productive fat loss!! If you lift weights you will gain muscle and muscle will add weight. Lose the scale...LOSE THE FAT NOT THE WEIGHT!!

If you're lifting in a deficit, you're unlikely to be gaining much, if any muscle. Lifting/resistance training is important to retain muscle in a deficit though2
