The one you like the taste of best.

Sometimes I like chai, sweetened, and with milk.

Other times something herbal - I have a heap of different ones in the cupboard

Tea does not really benefit you more than other fluids you consume so pick something you like and drink it as often as you like.

I like apple cinnamon, mint or lemon. Celestial Seasonings I believe is the brand. http://www.celestialseasonings.com/products
My dh likes rooibos teas. He will get loose tea from a tea store or tea bags. I'm not sure what brand.

Tea is neutral (neither good not bad) although there may be some antioxidant benefit to green tea.

I do not like tisanes except chamomile on occasion. I do have a blend of 80% green tea and 20% rooibos I like

I drink black, oolong, green, yellow, and white tea. The only scented teas I like are Earl Grey and Jasmine.

I usually drink a couple of cups per day.

I am a bit of a tea snob. I think tea bags are the lowest quality available and only drink loose leaf. I refuse to buy anything sold in a store. I get mine from tea merchants like Upton, The Tao of Tea, and the Dragon Tea House. They do not sell "brands", they import directly from the growers.

Tea is an obsession for me while on a diet:

I love teas from Assam, India. "English Breakfast Tea" is just re-branded Assam tea, usually. I purchase in quantity from uptontea.com.

At night, I like Chai Rooibios, which is caffeine free. Rooibos is a different plant from the tea plant, but it makes a nice earthy herbal hot or iced drink. Good with the chai herbs. I buy the Yogi brand at the supermarket.

I also like Chinese Oolong, also available in bulk from uptontea.com. You have to get the "good stuff" to really understand.

My current obsession is making a brew that mixes Bigelow Vanilla Caramel, Bigelow Salted Caramel, Celestial Seasonings Caramel Apple, and Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread Spice. I make a pot of this. With some fat free half and half and splenda, it's like having dessert.

There's a whole shelf in my pantry taken up by tea and tisanes. I bulk order the seasonal Celestial Seasonings blends I like from Amazon since they're usually only in stores at certain times of the year.

Yup (although mine is a shelf in a cupboard), and below it is a rack made up just of my tea pots.

Mostly, whatever I'm in the mood for. When it's time of month, I may specifically seek out mint or ginger because I've been told that one helps with cramps, the other with nausea. I'm not sure if it really works—mine come in waves and pass, so it's hard to know if they passed more quickly because of the tea, but it's filed under 'It won't hurt and it might help'.

*shrug* Sometimes you just want to feel like you can take something while waiting for the OTC meds to kick in.

"tisane: an infusion (as of dried herbs) used as a beverage or for medicinal effects."

I like camomile. Im not as picky about it as I am with my Assam. I once bought some in bulk from Upton.com. You get a bag of little yellow flowers. Very pretty, but slow to steep. Mostly, I just get Celestial seasonings, which I assume is more or less the same thing dried and ground up in a teabag.

I love Tazo tea! It's a fruity herbal tea. My favorite flavors are orange and passion.

Yup, if it is not from the Camellia sinensis plant, it is not tea, it is a tisane.

I get my chamomile from Upton and I rub them between my fingers before steeping. Shortens the steeping time considerably.

I need that corner shelf for behind my sink. I have to look for one. It's fantastic. I love your collection. I'm not a collector (I tend to not like stuff laying around), but if I were, teapots would be something I'd collect. When we were dating, my husband and I used to browse flea markets. I always used to stop and look at all the different teapots I saw.

Look at places that sell kitchen gadgets. I bought mine from a mail-order company called "Seventh Avenue" but you might even find it on Amazon or Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I've had it for years but there are plenty like it, both straight and for corners, out there.

I use every one of those teapots. Most are Yixing which can absorb flavors so I have a pot dedicated to each type of tea.
