Help with nutrition

Can anyone help with nutrition? Having problems choosing the right foods etc. I'm on a 1300 - 1400 nutrition plan but work the Graveyard shift. Frustrating and depressing! I get up at 2am and start at 4am. I can't eat at that time in the morning. I normally work until 1pm. My breaks are very radical! I never know when they are coming. Added about 1 stone and lots of fat. Not cool!! Thank you for your help!

    Have a protein bar or shake on hand for working hours, maybe some veggie bags and a banana/apple for snack, then do a good, nutritious dinner with lean proteins and lots of veggies.

    For weight loss the time you eat your food is irrelevant so pre-plan and log your day's food and stick to that whatever the timings.

    I'd suggest you investigate meal prep ideas and generate an arsenal of decent "packed to go" meals that you can break out whenever you get the chance to eat.

    why can't you eat at that time of day?

    when I was working night shift a few years ago, I basically adjusted my eating schedule to fit the hours I was awake - breakfast when I woke up/started shift (4-5pm); lunch around midnight and dinner around 6am before heading to bed around 9am
