Insanity

I am 206lbs and 40 - my eating is fairly healthy but I know I need to up the exercise to loose the weight supported by my eating.
Has anyone thoughts on Insanity for someone my size? I have been on lots of different websites and it doesn't really have much advice on this - anyone who is doing it or done it I would be grateful for your advice.
I tried the 30DS but get bored after about 5-6 days and then loose the plot as it is the same exercises repeated, one of the things from the advert on Insanity is there seems to be more variety even though it looks tougher.
Thanks, K
