Mission: SlimPossible

Hi everyone,
I'll be twenty-five this fall and it was a real wake-up call for me. Hovering THAT number I never believed I would get to has been my reality-check. I have been an on again, off again dieter but have never stuck with it. I made a plan this time! I know what I will be eating each day (that has been so great thus far!), logging what I eat and keeping that number "green". My biggest change this time around is sharing what I am doing--with this group, making connections and telling my family members that I am on a mission. Every other time, I have tried to do it myself; if I failed, no one knew, so it didn't matter--IT MATTERS THIS TIME!
At my age, I want energy! I'm that twenty-something going on 80...bed by 8:30 and I don't like leaving the house again after I come home from work. My office job sucks a lot of brain power each day and I have kept making excuses like, I'm mentally exhausted; I'm too tired to work out. I am changing that!
I am an avid hunter. Last fall, I couldn't keep up walking the sloughs and up the hills with my 55-year-old uncle. One of my goals is to train for this coming season!
As much as I would like my scale to say my goal number, I am more motivated by not feeling tired, not having stomach issues (because of all the junk I had been eating), having clothes that fit properly and a healthy mindset and strong, healthy lifestyle.
