I gained about 40 pounds because of 2 mayor surgeries that kept me down for about 2 years. Now I have only lost about a pound a month. So I'm trying to step it up but my health is not good enough to push it too hard. Now I'm overwhelmed with all the info in community and I don't understand how to join some one or.... Well.... Nothing. I don't understand a thing..... HELP...! PLEASE

    Hi, welcome back!
You don't have to join lots in the community, you just have to use the tracker to watch your calorie intake and get some idea of what calories you are burning with exercise.

I use the forums cos I like forums, and have used different ones over the years on a range of topics, but they are not for everyone. You might find a thread you like to hang out in, in here, but a bit of browsing and getting the feel like you would read a magazine is all you need to do at first. Remember to hit the little star button at the top of a thread if you want to "bookmark" so you can go back to it.

I also noticed a couple of people whose stories really enthused me so I asked them if I could add them as friends, so we get little bits of news about each other which increases the feeling of being conncted, but I mainly do that with a reallife friend who is doing this with me in here. Are any of your real life mates in here too? Making connetions might help you stay on track but I think too many might be a bit off-putting, for me at least.
