Talk about something that either good or bad lasted too long (i.e. an embarrassing situation, a lingering difficult moment in your life, generally tough situations you made it through) or not long enough (a pint of really good "ice cream", a day at the beach, generally good moments you wish you could spend a few more minutes enjoying.)

I stupidly let myself linger in relationships longer than was healthy because I had hope that they would go somewhere. Having the naivewool (TM) pulled off my eyes made me see how soon I should have ended them long before. But live and learn, hey?
On the other side of the coin, books are never long enough for me. I just wish the stories could go on forever.4 -

Summer.
One day we camped on a big lake in the North Cascades. We spent the day swimming, jumping off a cliff into the water, destroying a camera taking cute couple pics in the lake. It was one of the best days ever. The next day Beth woke up with a migraine. We had to break camp down, take the boat 10 miles, then hike a steep mile up to the car, then drive three hours to get home. Poor Beth, that was a day that went on forever.1 -
