Married life has been awesome in every respect except my waistline. Met my soulmate. Get to the spend the rest of my life with him. Regained 94 lbs and I'm 24 lbs less than my heaviest. Having a hard time not feeling like a failure and getting started again. I used to do triathlons (even did a full Ironman) and now I get winded walking.

Today is a new day! :)

Go for a walk until you are winded, tomorrow you will get that few steps further.

Do it together, cook together while you talk about your day. Walk together hand in hand. What better thing can a married couple do than stay healthy enough to stay around for each other for a very long time.

Unfortunately he's not on the bandwagon for doing activity together. We do spend time together but usually not doing active stuff. He'll go walking with me once every two weeks or so. He mostly works and plays video games (and stuff like chores around the house, etc.) but he has no interest in eating healthy or exercising, which is part of what makes it hard doing it on my own surrounded by food that's not healthy for me. I can't eliminate junk food from the house because it's his house too.
