Does anyone use ketone test strips?
I have been using and they are constantly being negative. I have actually been under 20 carbs or less everyday since February
..Only 1 strips out of 50 have been positive for ketones. What have your results been like?

    A few possibilities:

    You may be very well hydrated.

    You may not be making excessive ketones and are using them rather than spilling them into urine.

    You may need to go lower to get into ketosis. (Not likely)

    It could also be the strips themselves. They aren't exact and you can get different results based on different strip brands.

    Can you share what you eat in a day to have this effect?

    Bacon and eggs fried in butter
    Bullet coffee with coconut oil and butter
    Hamburgers with cheese and mayo
    Grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce with shredded cheese and Caesar dressing.
    Boiled eggs with mayo
    Tuna with mayo
    Pork rinds
    Sugar free jello and sugar free heavy whipping cream
    These are my normal go to foods. I dont ver very far from this stuff. The easier the better

    But I work outdoors and stay hydrated. So maybe thats it.

    Guess I can stop drinking water and find out. Lol joking.
