So I am just going to be real...
Can extra protein/protein powders make you gassy? I mean like nasty smelling too? This seems to be a problem in our house...

haha!

Especially if it is whey and you have problems digesting milk.

Put it this way... My husband was searching the house for a dead animal he thought our cat may have stashed somewhere, I never did tell him it was me :flushed: I didn't get the blame because i very, very rarely fluff.

The culprit? Whey protein concentrate in a new protein powder i'd just started using! I am absolutely fine with Isolate and Casein, have never experienced issues with either of these two.

Tony Fergusson shakes used to give me a bad tight stomach and the pharmacist said it was all of the fibre they put in those things to give you that full feeling. Haven't had the same issue with protein only shakes though.
