Don't post, pictures of; your keys because someone'd be, able to; make a copy of them!

Having been a locksmith once upon a time, I can tell you that looking at a key that belongs to someone who I don't know from Adam OR Eve, will gain me access to exactly nothing. No worries, please...

Prisoners were even able to make copies of, correction officers keys that's why they're encased now so; that they're unable to view & memorize the, patterns!

@DeficitDuchess, I don't disagree that one could reproduce the key by looking at it, but the science of keys and locks is somewhat more complicated than simply reproducing the way a key "looks".

And besides, what I'm also saying is that on a forum like this where we are all anonymous it would be next to impossible to gain access to someone else's stuff from a photo of a key.

Have you seen the, intricacy that a 3D printer's able to copy via; just a picture?

no writing instrument though? I'd have figured you for a Pico pen type of person.

I carry Rite-In-The-Rain notebooks, Fischer Mini Space Pens, Sharpies, and No. 3 pencils elsewhere.

Yowza. Are we really going to make a silly keychain thread controversial?
Seriously, no one is going to find where I live based on a pic of a key. I understand the being safe, but come on.

@Avocado_AS5...stick with me and we'll outsmart the zombies...

Of course they, won't find; where but if, they already know; where.

I used to have a keychain with mostly tags for all of the stores I shop at and way too many keys. Now I have my car key and my tag to get into the gym. I rarely carry a purse and want something I can throw in the pocket of my jeans or a hoodie. I honestly don't even know where my house key is which is really dumb. :|

That's why mine is all attached to my wallet. I lose keys at least once a day

If you have ever wrecked your ignition by having too heavy of a keychain you would be like me, the minimum amount of keys needed on it only!

this. plus, i don't want to carry too many sharp, heavy metal objects in a pocket next to my boys.

The ResQMe tool is a great thing to have on your keychain. I have one hanging on my steering column.

my keychain is my Liberty University Alumni keychain. On it is:

    1) Car Key
    2) House key
    3) mail key
    4) Gas Station (Friendly Express) frequent user club card
    5) Kroger Plus Card
    6) Auto Zone Rewards Card
    7) Dick's ScoreCard Rewards
    8) 2 keys to my desk drawers at work

I haven't used the Dick's or AutoZone cards in over a year. May need to remove them.
