I use to lift and stay pretty fit but now my L2,3,4,5 are messed up. Surgeon wants to place rods in there but I'm not ready to give up. Hoping to strengthen my core and spine support. My neck is messed up as well as my left shoulder and knee so it's hard to exercise without lots of pain. Who else is pushing through their physical pains.

Pilates will change your life. The key is finding a good instructor. You don't want a Yogi who teaches Pilates, most TRUE Pilates instructors don't like Yoga.
