MFP has evolved. I've been here so long I remember when they didn't have a like feature and it was so damn difficult to upload a picture...I'm sure some of you have been here longer than me, would you care to share your memories of the 'olden days'....

When a thread closed after it hit a certain count. That drove me nuts!!!! A thread would close when the convo was getting good and heavy...2

They still close when it's getting good. But mostly because some A holes don't know how to act right in public.9 -

I opened this account in August of 2013. Disappeared for a couple years, then came back in October 2016. I didn't post on the forums much until a few months ago.1

Been here since 2012...IDK...I guess things like the like button and whatnot...but more or less, it's the same. Many, if not most of the vets from back then either no longer participate in the forums or aren't on the app at all...quite a few are still on my FL, but are hardly ever seen in gen pop which is kind of a shame because they're some pretty knowledgeable and cool folks.2

The people and content has been pretty much the same these past 6 years. The database used to not be a gigantic mess and there wasn't this idiotic "kitten" thing. Bugs from years and years past still exist, basic useful functionality has been lost (does anyone even use their news feed anymore?), remember being able to check for new posts in all threads you've recently been active in? All in all it's been mainly a downgrade.
But hey, now there's four different ways to "like" a post, that's totally useful. And after a decade maybe we'll have round avatars instead of square, who knows what amazing things could be in store!2 -
Several years between my two accounts. The first I deleted because I didn't see value in it. I mean, it isn't that much value being here now, but I still like to track calories and stuff sometimes. I think I started again for this account in 20141
