Has anyone studied for their CIPD qualification?

Hi,
I am looking to start my Level 3 qualification but am not sure whether I should go for the certificate or diploma. I have heard conflicting things about which to do from both education providers and in order to get a discount I need to decide today - eep!
If any of you have any experience or advice if love love love to know.
