Sodium bloat.....

Will 1,600 mg of sodium from one meal make me bloat immediately? Or does it have to be higher at the end of the day to see bloating?

Either way, will drinking a ton of water all day flush this out by the end of the day?

This might be a dumb question but it's one I need some clarification on.

I would think sodium affects everyone different. For me, I aim to be below 2300 for the day. Usually when I go above that do I notice water retention. Not necessarily bloat, I honestly don't feel any bigger and my clothes still feel the same, but I see a difference on the scale by 1-3lbs. I drink a lot of water when that happens and it helps, but it takes me about 3-5 days to shed the water weight (as long as I don't have another high sodium day in that time).

It's hard to say, its based on how much average sodium you consume daily. Huge swings will cause swings in water weight. But if you are worried about water weight, try to eat things high in potassium/magnesium as they can balance your electrolytes.

It's not dumb but since we all eat different kind of foods, drink different things, it's hard to say. Drinking water will help, but by the end of the day? Couldn't say.
For me I see the effects of high sodium (little over 2300) for a few days. It's really all just water weight and eventually flushes, don't sweat the few day effects.
